Thursday, October 25th, 2018 Lincoln will hold a FAFSA night for seniors from 5:00-7:00 PM at the high school. You will receive pertinent information regarding the FAFSA as well as be able to receive help in filling it out. You will need to bring your 2017 tax information.
Just a reminder that if your senior is planning to attend college this fall they must complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov.
They must also apply for the Arkansas Lottery Scholarship at the Arkansas Department of Higher Education at ahde.edu and complete the YOUniversal (The Arkansas Financial Aid System).

Governor’s Scholar Scholarship
Senior students and parents, please be aware that college bound 2013 graduates with a 3.5 grade point average or better can apply for the Governor’s Scholar Scholarship to receive a potential $4,000.00 award. Seventy-five students will be awarded the scholarship from the state based on achievements.
Those seniors with a 3.5 or better and a ACT score of 32 or better or SAT of 1410 or better or are a National Merit Finalist can apply for the Governor’s Distinguished Scholars scholarship in the amount of $10,000.00. Up to 250 students can receive this honor. The deadline for both scholarships is February 1. Awards are not based on financial need, but merit. Student applications are electronic and can be found at www.arscholarships.com.
